Welcome to our charming little Pilates studio here in inner Nørrebro – a sanctuary dedicated to strengthening both body and mind through the timeless practice of classical Pilates.
Our goal is to create a space where you can find balance, improve your posture, and build a strong connection between body and mind. Classical Pilates is more than just a form of exercise – it's a holistic approach that focuses on building strength, flexibility, and stability.
At Frog Pilates, our utmost aim is to put you at the center, whether you train privately or participate in our classes or sessions. We strive to create an intimate and professional atmosphere where your training and well-being are the focus.
Meet your instructor
My name is Sara Giger, and I am the proud owner and instructor at Frog Pilates. Along with my husband, Phillip, and our two furry friends, Fonzie and Ellie, I live in Nørrebro. My passion for Pilates started from my own search for relief from back and pelvic pain. Pilates quickly became an indispensable part of my life as I experienced how it not only strengthens the body but also brings calm and balance.
I am a trained nurse specializing in pediatrics (children) and have been working professionally with Pilates since 2015. My journey in movement and rehabilitation took off when I discovered classical Pilates at a retreat and felt a significant difference in my body. This led me to the matwork education at The Pilates Standard, and later on to their Comprehensive training, which I completed in 2018.
With experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and functional training, I help my clients achieve better stability and strength. My own history with a herniated disc, hip surgery, and hip replacement has given me insight into how targeted training can create lasting improvements. Trust the method – it really works.
I constantly develop my skills through courses, workshops, and mentorship programs in the USA. Most recently, I have certified in the MELT method, a gentle technique that uses soft balls and rollers to release tension, improve tissue elasticity, and increase body awareness. I now integrate this method into my teaching to help my clients move more freely and effortlessly.
At Frog Pilates, I create a safe and inspiring space where you can work with your body in a way that feels good and delivers long-lasting results. Whether you join group classes or private sessions, my goal is to help you achieve a stronger, more balanced, and pain-free everyday life.
